ABOUT ABOUT

This 5-day Camp focuses on a day in the life of the people who lived in Old Key West during the golden age of wrecking. Participants will be challenged to test their maritime skills in our wrecker's race during salvage operations as they collect goods for auction. This program features historic stories, period arts and crafts, field games, a marketplace, and courtroom antics where our judge award licenses, impose fines and hears all cases.

  • Ages: 7-11
  • Instructors: Deadeye Rick, Daisy Connolly, and Kassandra Collett
  • Location: Fort East Martello. 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd. ArtCamp! sessions will take place in the Lee Garrison Art Classroom at Fort East Martello Museum. Drop-off (8:45 am – 9 am) and Pick-up (3:30 pm – 4 pm) will take place on the backfield, rain or shine.

Parents will need to fill out the ArtCamp! Emergency Contact Form and Camper Code of Conduct. If you are signing your camper up for multiple camps, only one form will need to be filled out. If you have multiple children attending camp, a form will need to be filled out for each child.

Please pack the items below in a backpack for your camper each day. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area. It is important that all items be labeled with your child’s name.
