ABOUT ABOUT

This camp is a "live-action history" program that will follow the story of the Seminole Wars in Florida during the 1800s. Participants will be encouraged to portray characters from both sides as we reenact key events from this historic episode. This program blends classroom antics and field games with art projects and storytelling to present a high-energy experience that is both educational and fun.

  • Ages: 7-11
  • Instructors: Deadeye Rick, Daisy Connolly, and Kassandra Collett
  • Location: Fort East Martello. 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd. ArtCamp! sessions will take place in the Lee Garrison Art Classroom at Fort East Martello Museum. Drop-off (8:45 am – 9 am) and Pick-up (3:30 pm – 4 pm) will take place on the backfield, rain or shine.

Parents will need to fill out the ArtCamp! Emergency Contact Form and Camper Code of Conduct. If you are signing your camper up for multiple camps, only one form will need to be filled out. If you have multiple children attending camp, a form will need to be filled out for each child.
